Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 1.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 1.63% or 240.0 points to trade at 14940.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 18.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was down 0.03% or 20.0 points to 59980.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 3.36% or 45.0 points to trade at 1295.0 in late trade. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) declined 2.61% or 700.0 points to end at 26080.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 2.57% or 300.0 points to 11380.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 25 to 3 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.65% or 0.83 to $128.50 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.32% or 9.50 to hit $2967.00 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.16% or 2.00 to trade at $1221.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.53% to 3026.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.13% to 833.15.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.20% at 95.98.
