Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Services and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 0.70% or 420.0 points to trade at 60500.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 0.49% or 5.0 points to end at 1030.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 0.34% or 80.0 points to 23880.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 2.87% or 340.0 points to trade at 11520.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 2.71% or 680.0 points to end at 24420.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 2.24% or 13.0 points to 567.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 7 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.87% or 1.41 to $161.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.70% or 17.00 to hit $2444.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.05% or 0.65 to trade at $1210.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.16% to 3153.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.09% to 939.82.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 101.12.
