Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.77%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 1.26% or 340.0 points to trade at 27400.0 at the close. Cemargos (CN:CCB) added 1.04% or 120.0 points to end at 11640.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was up 1.63% or 65.0 points to 4050.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which lost 2.42% or 360.0 points to trade at 14500.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 1.63% or 65.0 points to end at 3925.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) shed 2.07% or 800.0 points to 37940.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 7 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.15% or 1.57 to $135.50 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.08% or 2.50 to hit $3107.50 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.16% or 2.05 to trade at $1288.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.17% to 3001.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.28% to 862.53.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.66% at 95.04.
