Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.71%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 0.62% or 4.0 points to trade at 645.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 1215.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 11800.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 4.67% or 420.0 points to trade at 8580.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 2.18% or 25.0 points to end at 1120.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) shed 1.54% or 380.0 points to 24220.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 27 to 2 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.91% or 1.39 to $150.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.76% or 16.00 to hit $2076.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 7.05 to trade at $1198.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.11% to 2928.13, while BRL/COP rose 0.35% to 936.52.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 100.38.
