Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 0.49% or 140.0 points to trade at 28860.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 0.23% or 10.0 points to end at 4400.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 0.07% or 20.0 points to 27880.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 2.73% or 28.0 points to trade at 997.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 2.38% or 65.0 points to end at 2665.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) shed 1.83% or 720.0 points to 38640.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 4 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.64% or 2.32 to $143.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.55% or 10.50 to hit $1925.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 3.00 to trade at $1285.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.50% to 2851.89, while BRL/COP rose 0.73% to 918.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 100.24.
