Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH), which rose 2.77% or 640.0 points to trade at 23760.0 at the close. Cemargos (CN:CCB) added 0.68% or 80.0 points to end at 11760.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 0.54% or 200.0 points to 37020.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which lost 3.70% or 1060.0 points to trade at 27620.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 1.90% or 85.0 points to end at 4390.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 1.47% or 15.0 points to 1005.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 4 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 1.22% or 1.75 to $141.48 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.82% or 16.00 to hit $1934.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1226.35 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.16% to 2971.17, while BRL/COP fell 0.59% to 949.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 101.64.
