Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 1.43% or 14.0 points to trade at 994.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 1.32% or 15.0 points to end at 1155.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was up 0.74% or 80.0 points to 10880.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemargos (CN:CCB), which lost 1.51% or 180.0 points to trade at 11780.0 in late trade. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) declined 1.42% or 400.0 points to end at 27780.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) shed 1.20% or 140.0 points to 11520.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 13 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 2.07% or 2.91 to $137.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.93% or 42.00 to hit $2132.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.25 to trade at $1245.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.71% to 2897.96, while BRL/COP rose 0.23% to 931.13.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 99.54.
