Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which rose 1.80% or 680.0 points to trade at 38500.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 1.71% or 220.0 points to end at 13120.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 1.36% or 160.0 points to 11900.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which lost 1.97% or 500.0 points to trade at 24900.0 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 1.93% or 1180.0 points to end at 59860.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 1.76% or 480.0 points to 26720.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 8 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.37% or 0.45 to $121.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.54% or 16.00 to hit $2965.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 1.88% or 23.55 to trade at $1227.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.34% to 3063.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.28% to 857.33.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.39% at 95.60.
