Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 2.73% or 105.0 points to trade at 3955.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 2.12% or 340.0 points to end at 16360.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) was up 1.40% or 540.0 points to 39040.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 5.38% or 500.0 points to trade at 8800.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 2.83% or 40.0 points to end at 1375.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) shed 2.76% or 740.0 points to 26100.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.53% or 1.86 to $119.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.11% or 3.50 to hit $3219.50 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.17% or 2.15 to trade at $1292.65 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.10% to 2854.75, while BRL/COP fell 1.62% to 816.44.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.46% at 92.59.
