The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 4.71% or 110.0 points to trade at 2445.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 1.13% or 0.3 points to end at 26.8 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was up 1.06% or 50.0 points to 4780.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 3.00% or 270.0 points to trade at 8730.0 in late trade. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) declined 2.43% or 900.0 points to end at 36100.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) shed 2.29% or 900.0 points to 38400.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.41% or 0.50 to $121.42 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 2.35% or 48.50 to hit $2011.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.76% or 10.00 to trade at $1325.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.08% to 2907.45, while BRL/COP rose 0.03% to 882.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 90.01.
