Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 2.70% or 75.0 points to trade at 2700.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 2.02% or 240.0 points to end at 11620.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 1.36% or 380.0 points to 27600.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.11% or 0.14 to $122.03 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.97% or 19.00 to hit $1987.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 10.50 to trade at $1345.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.68% to 2830.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.84% to 888.21.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 88.91.
