Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.74%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which rose 5.32% or 500.00 points to trade at 9,900.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) added 3.21% or 270.00 points to end at 8,670.00 and Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) was up 1.94% or 1,520.00 points to 80,000.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which lost 2.95% or 220.00 points to trade at 7,250.00 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) declined 2.35% or 40.00 points to end at 1,660.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) shed 1.56% or 280.00 points to 17,700.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.46% or 6.40 to $254.00 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.30% or 243.00 to hit $7,117.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 14.50 to trade at $2,691.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.85% to 4,359.88, while BRL/COP rose 0.08% to 759.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 104.82.
