Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 1.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.72% or 160.0 points to trade at 9460.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 1.06% or 30.0 points to end at 2855.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 0.84% or 10.0 points to 1200.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 5.29% or 46.0 points to trade at 823.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 3.05% or 290.0 points to end at 9210.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 2.83% or 240.0 points to 8240.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 7 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.59% or 0.69 to $117.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 3.41% or 93.00 to hit $2633.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1290.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.72% to 2889.93, while BRL/COP fell 0.29% to 780.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 93.39.
