Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.89%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 7.22% or 840.0 points to trade at 12480.0 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) added 2.15% or 280.0 points to end at 13280.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 2.01% or 660.0 points to 33500.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 3.95% or 130.0 points to trade at 3160.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 1.84% or 75.0 points to end at 4000.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.75% or 5.0 points to 280.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.65% or 0.70 to $107.10 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 1.16% or 25.50 to hit $2177.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 3.90 to trade at $1243.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.78% to 3174.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.00% to 823.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 96.903.
