Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.81%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which rose 4.63% or 3,100.00 points to trade at 70,000.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) added 4.60% or 520.00 points to end at 11,820.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) was up 3.26% or 60.00 points to 1,900.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (BVC:ETB), which lost 6.25% or 5.00 points to trade at 75.00 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) declined 4.80% or 490.00 points to end at 9,710.00 and Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) shed 1.45% or 400.00 points to 27,240.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.61% or 4.42 to $269.48 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.11% or 171.00 to hit $8,293.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 14.00 to trade at $2,680.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.08% to 4,174.53, while BRL/COP rose 0.15% to 768.23.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 100.15.
