Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB), which rose 1.68% or 30.0 points to trade at 1820.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 58500.0 and Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was down 0.21% or 80.0 points to 37900.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 4.32% or 410.0 points to trade at 9080.0 in late trade. Isagen SA (CN:ISG) declined 4.27% or 190.0 points to end at 4260.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 1.77% or 220.0 points to 12180.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 26 to 1 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.83% or 1.19 to $141.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.85% or 24.50 to hit $2856.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.62% or 8.20 to trade at $1323.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 2.15% to 3015.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.21% to 917.05.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 97.30.
