Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.71% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA), which rose 1.37% or 240.00 points to trade at 17,700.00 at the close. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) added 1.37% or 50.00 points to end at 3,700.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) was up 1.06% or 20.00 points to 1,910.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which lost 3.48% or 270.00 points to trade at 7,480.00 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) declined 2.23% or 620.00 points to end at 27,160.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) shed 1.52% or 440.00 points to 28,560.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.42% or 3.48 to $248.13 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.68% or 185.00 to hit $7,093.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 25.30 to trade at $2,640.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.01% to 4,231.08, while BRL/COP fell 0.40% to 764.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 102.21.
