Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.40% or 45.0 points to trade at 3265.0 at the close. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) added 0.69% or 80.0 points to end at 11680.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.52% or 300.0 points to 58500.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB), which lost 6.18% or 105.0 points to trade at 1595.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 2.63% or 115.0 points to end at 4255.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 2.36% or 230.0 points to 9500.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 7 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.94% or 1.20 to $127.08 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.93% or 30.50 to hit $3248.50 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1200.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.01% to 2550.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.24% to 822.74.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 94.34.
