Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 2.33% or 200.0 points to trade at 8800.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 1.17% or 9.0 points to end at 779.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 0.86% or 80.0 points to 9400.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 1.10% or 90.0 points to trade at 8110.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 1.08% or 180.0 points to end at 16460.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) shed 1.02% or 380.0 points to 36740.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 3 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.28% or 0.32 to $115.35 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 2.53% or 62.00 to hit $2513.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.95% or 25.50 to trade at $1282.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.12% to 2895.50, while BRL/COP rose 3.44% to 776.23.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 94.79.
