Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 3.44% or 75.0 points to trade at 2255.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 0.11% or 5.0 points to end at 4505.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 1.64% or 600.0 points to 37100.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 4.57% or 145.0 points to trade at 3030.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 0.55% or 40.0 points to end at 7300.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) shed 0.50% or 100.0 points to 19800.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 11 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.18% or 0.19 to $107.53 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.79% or 17.00 to hit $2129.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1219.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.34% to 2920.10, while BRL/COP fell 0.59% to 768.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 95.45.
