Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Investment, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.97% or 190.0 points to trade at 9850.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 0.77% or 240.0 points to end at 31500.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.54% or 180.0 points to 33240.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which lost 2.46% or 700.0 points to trade at 27700.0 in late trade. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 1.00% or 680.0 points to end at 67520.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 0.97% or 10.0 points to 1025.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 25 to 6 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.37% or 0.48 to $128.82 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.32% or 6.00 to hit $1867.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.60 to trade at $1295.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.07% to 2983.19, while BRL/COP rose 0.67% to 950.27.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 93.08.
