Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 5.79% or 320.0 points to trade at 5850.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 1.52% or 200.0 points to end at 13340.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 1.38% or 220.0 points to 16220.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 6.45% or 20.0 points to trade at 290.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 2.99% or 8.0 points to end at 260.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 2.06% or 65.0 points to 3085.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 6 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.87% or 1.00 to $113.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 2.56% or 56.00 to hit $2134.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1227.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.28% to 3192.90, while BRL/COP fell 0.42% to 839.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 96.400.
