Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 10.00% or 960.00 points to trade at 10,560.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) added 4.64% or 480.00 points to end at 10,820.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was up 3.78% or 2,100.00 points to 57,700.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p), which lost 1.35% or 240.00 points to trade at 17,580.00 in late trade. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) declined 1.05% or 45.00 points to end at 4,235.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) shed 0.92% or 140.00 points to 15,000.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.69% or 2.27 to $329.52 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.79% or 93.00 to hit $11,839.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 5.30 to trade at $2,633.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.86% to 4,373.91, while BRL/COP fell 0.81% to 706.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.00.
