Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Investment, Public Services and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH), which rose 0.52% or 140.0 points to trade at 27140.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 0.38% or 60.0 points to end at 15900.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was up 0.21% or 10.0 points to 4675.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 2.36% or 12.0 points to trade at 496.0 in late trade. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) declined 1.45% or 20.0 points to end at 1360.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 1.20% or 480.0 points to 39480.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 3 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.62% or 0.77 to $124.40 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.33% or 7.00 to hit $2120.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.93 to trade at $1283.43 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.55% to 2950.15, while BRL/COP fell 0.86% to 911.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 93.73.
