Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.83% or 200.0 points to trade at 11140.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 1.80% or 50.0 points to end at 2830.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 0.83% or 80.0 points to 9750.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which lost 1.46% or 460.0 points to trade at 30940.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 1.46% or 15.0 points to end at 1015.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 1.27% or 420.0 points to 32680.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 12 to 10 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.22% or 0.28 to $128.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.21% or 4.00 to hit $1940.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.48 to trade at $1313.42 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.05% to 2934.52, while BRL/COP rose 0.01% to 928.38.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 92.85.
