Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Services and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 1.86% or 150.0 points to trade at 8200.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 0.76% or 35.0 points to end at 4665.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.69% or 240.0 points to 35040.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 5.45% or 45.0 points to trade at 781.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 2.73% or 250.0 points to end at 8900.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 2.27% or 70.0 points to 3010.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.95% or 1.14 to $118.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.24% or 5.50 to hit $2298.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.20 to trade at $1301.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.88% to 2830.00, while BRL/COP fell 3.19% to 737.59.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 93.61.
