Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 2.30% or 210.0 points to trade at 9350.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 1.03% or 8.0 points to end at 788.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was up 0.55% or 25.0 points to 4560.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 1.66% or 130.0 points to trade at 7690.0 in late trade. Promigas (CN:PMG) declined 1.08% or 80.0 points to end at 7350.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 0.85% or 10.0 points to 1165.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 2.20% or 2.39 to $110.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 1.02% or 23.50 to hit $2331.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 7.00 to trade at $1231.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.33% to 2874.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.16% to 761.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.81% at 94.21.
