Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which rose 1.10% or 280.0 points to trade at 25800.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 0.56% or 200.0 points to end at 35960.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 0.53% or 140.0 points to 26640.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 2.56% or 240.0 points to trade at 9150.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 2.55% or 70.0 points to end at 2675.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.25% or 5.0 points to 395.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 13 to 12 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.61% or 1.96 to $119.42 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 2.07% or 48.50 to hit $2292.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.60 to trade at $1300.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.24% to 2854.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.70% to 749.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 93.88.
