Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 2.76% or 400.0 points to trade at 14900.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 1.00% or 360.0 points to end at 36480.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.86% or 140.0 points to 16440.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 2.47% or 220.0 points to trade at 8680.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 2.13% or 720.0 points to end at 33160.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) shed 2.06% or 420.0 points to 19940.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.47% or 0.56 to $119.53 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 2.24% or 64.00 to hit $2799.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.30 to trade at $1318.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.11% to 2817.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.35% to 810.27.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 91.39.
