Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 2.26% or 840.0 points to trade at 38000.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 1.68% or 20.0 points to end at 1210.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 1.63% or 280.0 points to 17500.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 3.09% or 300.0 points to trade at 9400.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.19% or 35.0 points to end at 2895.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.05% or 4.0 points to 376.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 17 to 15 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 2.75% or 3.08 to $108.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 1.18% or 29.00 to hit $2480.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 4.10 to trade at $1257.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.03% to 2877.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.46% to 731.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 94.16.
