Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.23% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 0.96% or 25.0 points to trade at 2625.0 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) added 0.75% or 100.0 points to end at 13500.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 0.81% or 120.0 points to 14980.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 2.39% or 240.0 points to trade at 9800.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.96% or 11.0 points to end at 551.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 1.95% or 20.0 points to 1005.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 20 to 8 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 2.14% or 3.00 to $137.23 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.93% or 58.00 to hit $1919.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 5.96 to trade at $1288.04 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.42% to 2966.39, while BRL/COP fell 0.61% to 927.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 93.30.
