Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p), which rose 1.73% or 20.0 points to trade at 1175.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 0.86% or 10.0 points to end at 1175.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.70% or 240.0 points to 34660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 6.06% or 40.0 points to trade at 620.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 3.06% or 95.0 points to end at 3005.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 1.77% or 40.0 points to 2220.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 14 to 13 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 2.95% or 3.11 to $102.17 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.05% or 1.00 to hit $2145.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.46% or 17.50 to trade at $1183.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.31% to 3053.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.51% to 783.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 96.56.
