Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 2.64% or 55.0 points to trade at 2135.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 2.48% or 320.0 points to end at 13200.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 2.38% or 360.0 points to 15460.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 2.26% or 7.0 points to trade at 303.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.89% or 100.0 points to end at 5200.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 1.84% or 580.0 points to 30900.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 12 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 4.10% or 4.82 to $122.35 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.09% or 2.00 to hit $2214.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.60 to trade at $1226.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.08% to 3059.05, while BRL/COP rose 0.99% to 830.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 95.34.
