Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 1.89% or 200.0 points to trade at 10760.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 1.67% or 0.3 points to end at 18.3 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 1.22% or 140.0 points to 11640.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 3.85% or 50.0 points to trade at 1250.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 2.42% or 300.0 points to end at 12100.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) shed 1.95% or 80.0 points to 4030.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 13 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.83% or 1.20 to $143.98 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 3.58% or 101.00 to hit $2919.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.25% or 3.35 to trade at $1360.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.65% to 3090.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.06% to 944.52.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 95.71.
