Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 1.61% or 560.0 points to trade at 35240.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 1.61% or 180.0 points to end at 11380.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was up 1.46% or 15.0 points to 1040.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 0.70% or 4.0 points to trade at 571.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 0.53% or 0.1 points to end at 18.6 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) shed 0.43% or 80.0 points to 18700.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 20 to 6 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.09% or 1.75 to $159.05 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.27% or 6.50 to hit $2420.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.94% or 11.45 to trade at $1212.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.18% to 3127.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.25% to 913.66.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.60% at 100.98.
