Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH), which rose 0.84% or 200.0 points to trade at 24100.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 0.82% or 480.0 points to end at 59000.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was up 0.53% or 200.0 points to 38080.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 3.10% or 320.0 points to trade at 10000.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 2.26% or 190.0 points to end at 8210.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 1.51% or 15.0 points to 980.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 14 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 0.30% or 0.43 to $142.00 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.74% or 15.00 to hit $2016.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.45 to trade at $1228.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.29% to 2914.25, while BRL/COP rose 0.42% to 940.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 100.17.
