Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.92%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 3.72% or 350.0 points to trade at 9750.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 2.43% or 840.0 points to end at 35380.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 2.38% or 440.0 points to 18940.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 2.38% or 190.0 points to trade at 7810.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.63% or 0.4 points to end at 24.1 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 1.11% or 35.0 points to 3115.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.15% or 0.18 to $120.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.64% or 15.50 to hit $2439.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.20% or 15.90 to trade at $1335.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.05% to 2854.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.93% to 888.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.41% at 89.59.
