Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.84%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 1.04% or 380.0 points to trade at 36860.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 1.03% or 340.0 points to end at 33500.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.73% or 120.0 points to 16560.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which lost 2.49% or 600.0 points to trade at 23500.0 in late trade. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) declined 1.75% or 260.0 points to end at 14640.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 1.30% or 130.0 points to 9840.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 2.00% or 2.39 to $121.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.05% or 29.50 to hit $2829.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.60 to trade at $1324.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.21% to 2811.09, while BRL/COP rose 0.15% to 811.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 91.34.
