Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which rose 3.63% or 620.0 points to trade at 17700.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 2.85% or 85.0 points to end at 3070.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 1.43% or 520.0 points to 36940.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 2.21% or 210.0 points to trade at 9290.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.10% or 4.0 points to end at 360.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 0.89% or 7.0 points to 780.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 10 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.96% or 1.06 to $111.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.95% or 21.00 to hit $2240.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.00 to trade at $1220.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.05% to 2875.05, while BRL/COP fell 0.51% to 770.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 94.16.
