Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Investment, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p), which rose 2.55% or 880.0 points to trade at 35400.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 3.78% or 45.0 points to end at 1235.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 2.61% or 840.0 points to 33000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 0.51% or 2.0 points to trade at 390.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 0.73% or 60.0 points to end at 8200.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 1.07% or 30.0 points to 2775.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 9 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.62% or 0.75 to $120.83 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.19% or 5.00 to hit $2611.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1291.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.96% to 2849.93, while BRL/COP rose 0.06% to 782.18.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.50.
