Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.47% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Mineros SA (BVC:MAS), which rose 4.96% or 190.00 points to trade at 4,020.00 at the close. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) added 3.74% or 400.00 points to end at 11,100.00 and Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG) was up 2.93% or 560.00 points to 19,660.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which lost 3.97% or 500.00 points to trade at 12,100.00 in late trade. Promigas (BVC:PMG) declined 2.60% or 200.00 points to end at 7,500.00 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) shed 2.18% or 210.00 points to 9,410.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.47% or 4.43 to $306.53 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 1.17% or 106.00 to hit $8,979.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 3.11% or 85.15 to trade at $2,652.05 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.11% to 4,384.75, while BRL/COP fell 0.76% to 756.15.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.60% at 106.86.
