Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 3.10% or 125.0 points to trade at 4155.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 3.05% or 280.0 points to end at 9450.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.92% or 600.0 points to 31900.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 5.19% or 20.0 points to trade at 365.0 in late trade. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 3.31% or 480.0 points to end at 14000.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 3.29% or 11.0 points to 323.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 12 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.24% or 0.25 to $102.15 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.00% or 62.00 to hit $2003.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.00 to trade at $1193.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.28% to 3000.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.91% to 745.21.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 94.92.
