Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which rose 1.18% or 400.0 points to trade at 34300.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.08% or 35.0 points to end at 3275.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was up 0.62% or 220.0 points to 35520.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 9.09% or 50.0 points to trade at 500.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 2.61% or 55.0 points to end at 2050.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.41% or 5.0 points to 350.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 10 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 3.55% or 3.60 to $104.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.94% or 22.00 to hit $2362.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.54% or 18.40 to trade at $1212.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.41% to 2975.90, while BRL/COP fell 0.16% to 724.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 95.05.
