Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) added 2.32% or 190.00 points to end at 8,390.00 and Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) was up 2.22% or 160.00 points to 7,370.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mineros SA (BVC:MAS), which lost 2.15% or 75.00 points to trade at 3,415.00 in late trade. Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) declined 1.99% or 380.00 points to end at 18,720.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) shed 1.68% or 200.00 points to 11,720.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.05% or 2.52 to $238.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 3.95% or 319.00 to hit $7,749.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.18% or 53.60 to trade at $2,402.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.16% to 4,018.01, while BRL/COP fell 1.12% to 717.73.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 104.07.
