Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 3.80% or 13.0 points to trade at 355.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 1.28% or 15.0 points to end at 1190.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 1.16% or 400.0 points to 34960.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 6.06% or 40.0 points to trade at 620.0 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 0.62% or 50.0 points to end at 8050.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 0.48% or 160.0 points to 33360.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 8 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.66% or 0.67 to $101.25 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.51% or 11.00 to hit $2144.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 7.20 to trade at $1191.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.13% to 3025.55, while BRL/COP fell 0.10% to 773.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 95.99.
