Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 9.70% or 690.00 points to trade at 7,800.00 at the close. Etb (BVC:ETB) added 5.56% or 5.00 points to end at 95.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was up 1.34% or 820.00 points to 61,820.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p), which lost 1.67% or 220.00 points to trade at 12,920.00 in late trade. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) declined 1.38% or 45.00 points to end at 3,215.00 and Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) shed 0.99% or 25.00 points to 2,500.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.81% or 1.82 to $226.67 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 5.96% or 435.00 to hit $7,728.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.30 to trade at $2,338.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.01% to 4,119.33, while BRL/COP fell 0.72% to 725.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 105.38.
