Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA), which rose 2.15% or 360.00 points to trade at 17,080.00 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) added 0.37% or 40.00 points to end at 10,900.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) was up 0.20% or 20.00 points to 10,140.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO), which lost 1.73% or 480.00 points to trade at 27,220.00 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) declined 1.72% or 500.00 points to end at 28,500.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) shed 1.59% or 1,000.00 points to 62,000.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.86% or 2.20 to $254.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.56% or 110.00 to hit $7,174.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 6.20 to trade at $2,675.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was unchanged 0.00% to 4,188.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.57% to 764.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 101.71.
