Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 1.74% or 500.0 points to trade at 29300.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 0.89% or 260.0 points to end at 29440.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.65% or 120.0 points to 18600.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 1.47% or 15.0 points to trade at 1005.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.12% or 110.0 points to end at 9710.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 1.10% or 120.0 points to 10740.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 13 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.04% or 1.25 to $121.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.16% or 22.00 to hit $1922.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.50 to trade at $1264.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.97% to 2970.38, while BRL/COP fell 0.86% to 902.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 93.26.
