Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 0.51% or 40.0 points to trade at 7900.0 at the close. Promigas (CN:PMG) added 2.03% or 150.0 points to end at 7550.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.65% or 50.0 points to 7700.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to trade at 2260.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 2.17% or 200.0 points to end at 9000.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) shed 1.10% or 180.0 points to 16180.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 9 to 7 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.96% or 2.11 to $109.78 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.65% or 56.00 to hit $2170.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 5.40 to trade at $1217.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.28% to 2900.65, while BRL/COP fell 0.32% to 777.68.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 95.14.
