Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Public Services, Agriculture and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 5.29% or 460.0 points to trade at 9150.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 4.00% or 820.0 points to end at 21320.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 1.85% or 600.0 points to 33100.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which lost 3.42% or 40.0 points to trade at 1130.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.23% or 160.0 points to end at 12840.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 1.19% or 60.0 points to 5000.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 10 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 3.07% or 3.60 to $113.50 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.94% or 68.00 to hit $2380.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.90 to trade at $1227.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.88% to 3155.35, while BRL/COP fell 1.84% to 838.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 96.12.
